At Quinta do Casal Monteiro we are passionate about the art of winemaking, excelling to take special care, love and attention into every step of the vinification process.

 

In 2009 and new generation/family took over this company and since then a restructuring of both the winery and vineyard have been taking place. Considerable investments were made in modern equipment and rehabilitation of the vineyards has been an on going task. As such, every year our quality has been increasing and we expect to continuously do so over the present decade.

 

When it comes to turn carefully grown grapes into fine wine we combined our predecessors’ knowledge with state of the art technology. It is this great respect for the land and a strong passion in the art of wine making that drives our quest to ultimately produce every year, the best wine our Terroir has to offer.

 

The Terra de Touros brand was created in the 90’s as a tribute to the Ribatejo identity and the practice of raising bulls. With the purpose of creating a more accessible product, without compromising on quality, with this brand Quinta do Casal Monteiro presents Estate bottled vintages made with high quality grape varieties.
