With a legacy dating back to the nineteenth-century, David Hill boasts the oldest vines in the state of Oregon. The land was homesteaded in 1883 in present-day Forest Grove (then known as Rueter’s Farm), and grapes were planted at that time. The property went through several hands until the Stoyanovs bought it in 1992. Currently, they vineyard primarily produces Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer grapes.
